A squishy ball costs anywhere from under $1 to about $20 each
How much does a squishy ball cost? In our shop, anywhere from 83 cents to $19.99 per ball, and the gap is almost entirely about how many come in the box and how big each one is. A single squishy ball is usually $17.99. Buy a bag of 24 or 50 and the price per ball drops below a dollar, but so does the size.
We worked this out from 109 squishy ball listings in our shop on September 30, 2026, dividing each listing’s price by the number of balls in it. One listing is a making kit rather than finished balls, so the maths below covers the other 108. Prices change, so treat the numbers as a snapshot.
Single squishy balls: nearly all $17.99
63 of the 108 are a single ball. 62 of those cost $17.99, and one, a 2-inch baozi dumpling ball, is $19.99. So if you are buying one squishy ball toy for yourself, the price hardly varies; the design, feel and size are what change.
That is worth knowing because the singles cover everything from a pocket ball to a two-hand jumbo. The Giant Corn Squishy and the Jumbo Pineapple Squishy are both listed at 7 inches for $17.99. The Mashed Potato Squishy is listed at 2 inches for the same $17.99. At one price, a single tells you very little about size, so read the listing.
Outside that count, some simpler balls are sold one at a time for $12, with a discount if you take more. The Clear Jelly Ball and the Bead Fidget Ball are $12 for one, $22.80 for two and $32.40 for three, which is $10.80 a ball.
Multipacks: what the price per ball looks like
The other 45 listings are packs of 2 to 50. Here is what each size works out to per ball.
| Pack | Listings | Price | Per ball |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 balls | 15 | $17.99 or $19.99 | about $9.00 to $10.00 |
| 3 balls | 11 | $22.99 | about $7.66 |
| 4 balls | 10 | $29.99 | about $7.50 |
| 12 balls | 4 | $29.99 to $55.99 | about $2.50 to $4.67 |
| 24 balls | 3 | $19.99 to $49.99 | about $0.83 to $2.08 |
| 30 balls | 1 | $53.99 | about $1.80 |
| 50 balls | 1 | $44.99 | about $0.90 |
Two things stand out. The 2-, 3- and 4-packs all land between about $7.50 and $10 a ball, so the step from one ball to a small pack roughly halves the unit price. And the big packs do not get cheaper in a straight line: the 24-packs range from about 83 cents to about $2.08 a ball, because what is in them differs.
Why the bulk squishy balls are so cheap
Mostly, they are smaller. The bulk listings say so in their own words:
- Alien Squishy Stress Balls 50 Pack: $44.99, about 90 cents each. Each ball is listed at 1.57 inches, “about an inch and a half”.
- Mini Heart 24 Pack: 24 smiley foam hearts for $19.99, so roughly 83 cents a heart. “Each one fits a small fist.”
- Mini Alien Squishy Stress Balls, 24 Pack: $34.99, about $1.46 each.
The middle of the bulk range carries more build for the money. The 24 Pack Glow in the Dark Star Squishy Stress Balls are about $2.08 each and filled with what the listing calls “a thick, slow rising gel”. The Ocean Octopus Mesh 12-Pack is about $2.50 each, a bead-filled body under a stretchy mesh skin.
Mini squishy balls are made for handing out: party bags, prize jars, a whole class. They are not a cheaper way to get the same ball you would buy on its own.
Same size, different price
The clearest comparison among these listings is two TPR balls with the same listed size. The Chick Squishy Ball is a single 4.5 × 4.5 cm TPR ball for $17.99. The Glitter Dumpling Squishy 4-Piece is four TPR dumplings, each listed at 4.5 × 4.5 cm, for $29.99, about $7.50 a ball.
The chick has its own shape and you choose one colour; the dumpling set is four of one design in a colour you pick. If you want several balls and do not mind them matching, the pack costs well under half as much per ball. If you want one particular character, you pay the single price.
Only 12 listings give you a size
This is the catch in comparing squishy ball prices by the number alone. Of the 108 ball listings, only 12 record a size. The rest describe size in words such as “palm-sized”, “jumbo” or “fits a small fist”. So for most balls, a per-ball price is the one hard number you can compare, and size is a judgment from the photos and wording.
A rough way to use both:
- Buying one for yourself: compare singles by feel and size words, since the price is almost always $17.99.
- Buying a few: a 3- or 4-pack is about $7.50 a ball.
- Buying for a group: the Mini Heart 24-pack, the Mini Alien 24-pack and the 50-pack all come in under $1.50 a ball, and the balls are small.
