Popsicle squishy or ice cream squishy: what actually differs
A popsicle squishy and an ice cream squishy can feel completely different in the hand, and the shape is only part of the reason. The bigger difference is the fill: some are matte foam, some are glossy gel, and some are sold specifically as slow rising. Price per piece swings a lot too, from about $7.66 in a three-pack to $17.99 for a single.
We carry fifteen frozen-treat squishies. This page sorts them three ways, all from our own listings: by shape, by the texture each listing describes, and by what one piece costs.
The three frozen-treat shapes
Across the fifteen, the designs fall into three shapes plus one mixed set:
- Stick pops (6): the Rainbow Popsicle, the Pink Ice Pop, the Sugar Popsicle, the Squeeze Ice Cream Popsicle, the berry and sunset 2-pack and the 3-pack popsicle set.
- Cones (6): the Soft-Serve Cone, the Pink Swirl Cone, the Pink Cream Cone, the Mini Ice Cream Cone, the blue and pink cone 2-pack and the multicolor cone 3-pack.
- Scoops (2): the single ice cream scoop and the 3-piece scoop set.
- Mixed (1): the cone and popsicle set, one of each.
The shape decides what you hold on to. A stick pop has a stick to grip while you squeeze the body. A cone splits into a cone and a topping, and on the Pink Swirl Cone the listing says the yellow cone “stays put” while you pinch the swirl. A scoop has no stick or cone at all, so the whole piece is the part you squeeze.
We do not currently carry an ice cream sandwich squishy. If that is the shape you want, none of the fifteen here is it.
What the listings say about texture
Squishy listings use loose words, so here is what each one actually states. We have grouped them by that wording, not by our own guess.
| Texture the listing describes | Designs |
|---|---|
| Matte foam that compresses | Rainbow Popsicle |
| Velvety foam that wrinkles when squeezed | Pink Swirl Cone |
| Glossy body, dents then comes back | Pink Ice Pop (turquoise gel section), Pink Cream Cone (glossy swirl) |
| Gel filled and slow rising | Sugar Popsicle |
| “Mochi-style” squish, slow rising | Cone and popsicle set |
| Slow rising, no further texture detail | Berry and sunset 2-pack, 3-pack popsicles, Squeeze Ice Cream Popsicle, Mini Cone, blue and pink cone 2-pack, multicolor cone 3-pack, single scoop, 3-piece scoop set |
| Soft and squeezable, nothing more specific | Soft-Serve Cone |
Two things stand out. First, the five designs that are sold as one, two or three of the same design (Rainbow Popsicle, Soft-Serve Cone, Pink Swirl Cone, Pink Ice Pop and Pink Cream Cone) describe how they look and feel, but none of them uses the words slow rising. If a slow, lazy rise is what you are after, pick from the rows that say so. Second, the Sugar Popsicle is the only one that claims both a gel fill and a slow rise.
Price per piece
Five designs (the Rainbow Popsicle, Soft-Serve Cone, Pink Swirl Cone, Pink Ice Pop and Pink Cream Cone) come as one, two or three of the same design. The rest are sold as fixed singles or packs. Per-piece prices below are our arithmetic from the listed prices.
| How it’s sold | Listed price | Per piece |
|---|---|---|
| 3-pack popsicles, multicolor cone 3-pack, 3-piece scoop set | $22.99 for 3 | about $7.66 |
| Cone and popsicle set | $17.99 for 2 | about $9.00 |
| Berry and sunset 2-pack, blue and pink cone 2-pack | $19.99 for 2 | about $10.00 |
| The five designs above, 3 of one | $32.40 for 3 | $10.80 |
| The five designs above, 2 of one | $22.80 for 2 | $11.40 |
| The five designs above, single | $12.00 | $12.00 |
| Sugar Popsicle, Squeeze Ice Cream Popsicle, Mini Cone, single scoop | $17.99 | $17.99 |
The three-packs are the cheapest route by a wide margin if you need several, for party bags or to split between siblings. The singles at $17.99 make sense when you want one specific design, such as the gel-filled Sugar Popsicle.

FAQ
Is a popsicle squishy slow rising?
It depends on the listing. The Sugar Popsicle, the Squeeze Ice Cream Popsicle, the berry and sunset 2-pack and the 3-pack popsicles are all described as slow rising. The Rainbow Popsicle and the Pink Ice Pop are described as denting and bouncing back, without a slow-rise claim.
Which ice cream squishies come in packs?
The berry and sunset popsicles, the blue and pink cones and the cone and popsicle set come in twos; the multicolor cones, the 3-pack popsicles and the 3-piece scoop set come in threes. Five designs can also be bought as two or three of the same one.
