How big is a bread squishy?
A bread squishy can be as short as 11.5 cm (4.5 in) or as long as 50 cm (19.7 in). Those are the extremes among the ten bread squishies in our catalog whose listings give both a measured size and a weight. Weight ranges from 10 g to 153 g, and length is a poor guide to it: a 21.5 cm French loaf weighs more than twice as much as a 29 cm baguette.
A product photo on a plain background does not show scale. This page puts the numbers side by side so you can picture the size before you order.
The chart: ten bread squishies sorted by length
All sizes and weights below are the approximate figures printed on each product listing (length × width × height). The inch column and the grams-per-centimetre column are our own arithmetic from those figures.
| Bread squishy | Length | Listed size (cm) | Weight | Grams per cm |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jumbo 50 cm Baguette | 50 cm / 19.7 in | 50 × 8 × 4.5 | 153 g | 3.06 |
| 29 cm Long Baguette | 29 cm / 11.4 in | 29 × 3 × 6 | 45 g | 1.55 |
| 28 cm Classic Baguette | 28 cm / 11.0 in | 28 × 6 × 3 | 54 g | 1.93 |
| 21.5 cm Split-Crust French Loaf | 21.5 cm / 8.5 in | 21.5 × 6.5 × 5.3 | 100 g | 4.65 |
| 21 cm Braided Baguette | 21 cm / 8.3 in | 21 × 6.8 × 4 | 80 g | 3.81 |
| 20 cm Twisted Bread | 20 cm / 7.9 in | 20 × 5 × 3 | 28 g | 1.40 |
| 16 cm Dotted French Bread Stick | 16 cm / 6.3 in | 16 × 3.5 × 2 | 13 g | 0.81 |
| 15.5 cm Mini Twisted Baguette | 15.5 cm / 6.1 in | 15.5 × 4 × 2 | 14 g | 0.90 |
| 15 cm Spiral Pull-Apart Bread | 15 cm / 5.9 in | 15 × 6.5 × 4 | 45 g | 3.00 |
| 11.5 cm Raisin Cookie Bread | 11.5 cm / 4.5 in | 11.5 × 4 × 1.5 | 10 g | 0.87 |
On September 30, 2026 every one of these ten was listed at the same price, $17.99. The 50 cm baguette and the 11.5 cm raisin bread cost the same, so size is a matter of taste here, not budget.
Why grams per centimetre says more than length
Length tells you whether a squishy fits on a shelf. Weight per centimetre tells you how much material sits in each hand-width of it, which is closer to what you notice when you pick it up. Dividing the listed weight by the listed length sorts these bread squishies into three clear groups:
- Slim sticks, under 1 g per cm: the 16 cm dotted bread stick (0.81), the 11.5 cm raisin cookie bread (0.87) and the 15.5 cm mini twisted baguette (0.90). Each is 2 cm tall or less.
- Long and light, 1.4 to 2 g per cm: the 20 cm twisted bread (1.40), the 29 cm long baguette (1.55) and the 28 cm classic baguette (1.93). These are long shapes that stay light.
- Chunky, 3 g per cm and up: the 15 cm spiral pull-apart (3.00), the 50 cm jumbo baguette (3.06), the 21 cm braided baguette (3.81) and the 21.5 cm split-crust loaf (4.65).
The surprise is the spiral pull-apart bread. At 15 cm it is one of the shortest, yet it weighs the same 45 g as the 29 cm baguette, because it is 6.5 cm wide and about 4 cm tall. If you want something short but substantial, it is the one to look at. If you want the most bread per centimetre, the split-crust loaf leads the chart.
Which slow rising bread squishy listings include a size?
This is the gap worth knowing about. None of the ten measured bread squishies above describes a slow rise in its listing, so do not assume they puff back slowly; their listings simply do not say.
Our bread squishy collection had 43 active products on September 30, 2026. Of those, 24 describe a slow rise, but only three of those 24 give any measurement, and all three are in inches with no weight:
- Big Bread Squishy Loaf, 4.5 in
- Frosted Croissant Squishy, 5 in
- Big Croissant Squishy, 6 in
So if slow rise is your priority, you are choosing from listings that mostly do not state a size. If exact size is your priority, the measured baguette line is where the numbers are. We would rather tell you that than guess at dimensions that are not on record.
How to use this chart before you buy
- Decide where it will live. The listings for all ten suggest a desk, a shelf or a bread squishy collection; measure the spot and compare it with the length column.
- Check all three dimensions, not just the length. The three slim sticks are 2 cm or less in their smallest dimension, while the 29 cm long baguette lists 6 cm and the split-crust loaf 5.3 cm for their third dimension.
- Use grams per centimetre to compare two similar lengths. The 21 cm braided baguette (80 g) and the 20 cm twisted bread (28 g) are nearly the same length but very different amounts of squishy.
- Treat the figures as approximate. Most of these listings describe their size and weight as approximate, and a few mark one dimension “approx.” as well.
FAQ
What is the biggest bread squishy you sell?
By listed measurements, the Jumbo 50 cm Baguette: about 50 × 8 × 4.5 cm and 153 g. The next longest measured bread squishy is 29 cm.
Are bread squishies slow rising?
Some are and some are not stated. In our bread squishy collection, 24 of 43 active listings describe a slow rise. None of the ten measured baguette-style bread squishies in the chart above says so, so check each listing’s wording rather than assuming.
Why are some bread squishies listed in inches and others in centimetres?
The measurements come from the product information recorded for each listing, and different product lines were recorded in different units. We convert centimetres to inches in the chart above; inch-only listings have no weight on record, so we left them out of the grams-per-centimetre comparison.
