Check the pack total before the per-piece price
Looking for squishies under $10? Decide whether that means spending less than $10 on the entire order or paying less than $10 for each piece in a larger pack. The examples below meet the second meaning before shipping and taxes. You pay for the whole pack; a calculated unit price is not an offer to buy one piece separately.
We checked these Squeezy product prices and pack counts on October 2, 2026. All figures are in USD. They use the ordinary displayed product price, with no membership fee, coupon or additional discount assumed. Prices and options can change, so confirm the selected pack and checkout total before paying.
Five squishy packs with different buying commitments
| Listing | Pieces in one pack | Whole-pack price | Calculated price per piece |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cheese 2-pack | 2 | $19.99 | $9.995 exactly; $10.00 rounded to cents |
| Milk Carton 3-pack | 3 | $22.99 | About $7.66 |
| Waffle 4-pack | 4 | $29.99 | About $7.50 |
| Mini Pig 6-pack | 6 | $19.99 | About $3.33 |
| Mini Egg 60-piece pack | 60 | $29.99 | About $0.50 |
The calculation is pack price divided by the number of pieces. Values marked “about” are rounded to cents. The cheese pair is a borderline case: $19.99 divided by two is $9.995, only half a cent below $10. If you want a visibly lower unit cost, that pair leaves almost no margin for other costs.
When comparing affordable squishies, treat these as examples, not a price survey of every item on sale. A lower unit price does not show that two listings have the same size, material or feel. Check those details independently if they matter to your choice. Write down the designs you want first, then use the price table to compare purchases that actually match that list.
A quantity selector is different from a named pack
The Astronaut page provides a useful comparison. It currently lists one for $12.00, two for $22.80, and three for $32.40. That works out to $12.00, $11.40 and $10.80 per piece. Buying more through those options reduces the unit price, but none of those three choices brings it below $10.
The cheese two-pack costs $2.81 less in merchandise than the two-Astronaut option: $22.80 minus $19.99. That is a comparison between two different purchases, not evidence that they are interchangeable toys. If you specifically want an astronaut, a cheaper cheese pair does not meet that preference.
On a pack page, distinguish the number of packs from the number of pieces inside each pack. Increasing a cart quantity from one to two may mean two complete packs. Read the selected option and cart line rather than using the number on the quantity button as the piece count.
Count the pieces you actually want to keep or give
A large pack has a low advertised unit cost only when its quantity is useful to you. Suppose you choose the $29.99, 60-piece pack but only have a use for ten pieces. Dividing the purchase by those ten gives about $3.00 per used piece, before other costs. The remaining fifty still need a destination or storage space.
For a gift or shared purchase, start with a list of recipients and how many pieces each should receive. Then compare that total with the pack count. Do not assume a mixed set supplies identical designs or equal numbers of every pictured item unless the selected listing says so. Ask about a required color or design before ordering it for a matching group.
For a personal collection, choose the smallest pack that meets your actual plan. A six-piece set at $19.99 and a sixty-piece set at $29.99 create different storage commitments even though both have low per-piece arithmetic. Saving money on pieces you do not want is not necessarily a useful saving.
Include shipping in a strict budget
Our current shipping policy lists $9.99 USD shipping, with free shipping when the discounted merchandise total reaches $49 USD. The product pages also state that applicable taxes and the final total are shown before payment. Check that policy and your actual checkout for the destination and order you are considering.
For example, if the cheese pair is your only purchase and the listed $9.99 shipping applies, merchandise plus shipping is $29.98, or $14.99 per piece, before any applicable tax. The $9.995 merchandise calculation does not make that order an all-in under-$10-per-piece purchase.
Avoid adding unwanted items solely to reach a free-shipping threshold. Compare the final cost of the order you want with the final cost of the larger order. Include the extra items in that comparison, and read the refund policy before opening a set you are uncertain about.
FAQ
Can I buy one piece for the calculated unit price?
The table calculates the cost inside each listed pack. It does not offer separate pieces at those prices. The checkout charge is for the whole selected pack.
Is the $19.99 cheese pair really less than $10 each?
In exact merchandise arithmetic, yes: $19.99 divided by two is $9.995. Rounded to cents, that is $10.00. Shipping or tax can raise the effective cost, so use the full checkout total for a strict budget.
Which number should I use to compare two orders?
First compare their total checkout costs. Then divide each total by its confirmed number of pieces, or by the pieces you actually plan to use. Keep size and design preferences in the comparison instead of choosing by unit price alone.
