Banana squishy, peach squishy, pickle squishy: nearly all slow-rise foam
A banana squishy, peach squishy or pickle squishy is almost always slow-rise foam. In our catalog, 7 of 8 banana listings describe plain slow-rise foam, and so do 6 of 7 peach and 6 of 7 pickle listings. The odd peach and pickle out are still foam, just sold as stretchy or moldable. If you want a jelly, slushy or crackly feel, pick a different fruit. Coconut, lemon, lime, apple and watermelon are where the other fills show up.
The numbers come from our own listings on September 30, 2026. We took every active listing in our fruit, banana, peach, pickle, apple and strawberry squishy collections and left out bead-filled balls. That left 110. We sorted each one by the first fill or texture word its name, tagline or description uses, checked in this order: wax or crackle, slushy or glitter gel, mesh, clear or jelly, fluid or gel-filled, mochi, stretchy or moldable, and finally foam or slow-rising. It is a sort by what the listing says, not a hands-on test. Four listings name no fill at all and are counted as “not stated”.

Overall, 68 of the 110 describe slow-rise foam. That is about six in ten. The rest split between jelly or clear bodies (19), stretchy or moldable (9), slushy or glitter gel (5), a few one-offs and 4 that do not say.
Where the jelly, slushy and crackly fruit squishies are
The popular fruits are where the choice is narrowest. A few less-searched fruits carry most of the variety.
- Jelly and clear: coconut first. Six of our seven coconut listings describe a jelly or clear body. The clear coconut squishy listing says it “turns to soft jelly and droops right through your fingers.” Apple, lemon, lime and blueberry have two jelly or clear listings each. The ones that are actually see-through by their own description include the clear and transparent apples and the lemon and blueberry ice cubes.
- The one clear banana. The crystal fruit banana squishy is the only banana in the group that is not plain foam. Its tagline describes a transparent body with fruit slices floating inside.
- Slushy and glitter gel: watermelon. Three watermelon listings describe a slushy fill. Our one slushy apple, the jumbo glitter-gel slushy apple squishy, is the apple squishy to pick if you want slow-oozing gel rather than foam.
- Wax crackle: one lemon set. The lemon squishy fidget ball 2-pack has a wax-soft surface that its listing says “crackles under your thumb”.
Watermelon is the fruit with the widest spread: eight listings across six different textures. If you are buying more than one of a single fruit and want them to feel different, it is the easiest one to do that with.
Pickle, cucumber and carrot squishies
The veggie side is small and mostly foam. The pickle squishy group has six foam listings and one outlier. The moldable pickle squishy is still foam, but its listing says you can squish, stretch and mold it before it rises back. For sheer length, the 12-inch pickle squishy is the one to look at; its color is picked at random. A giant cucumber is listed alongside the pickles as a twist on the same idea.
The one carrot in the set is a stretchy squishy. Its listing says it pulls well past its size and creeps back to a 5.5-inch shape. Avocado has the only mochi-style pack in the group: 12 palm-sized halves for $35.99, which works out to $3.00 each. Avocado also has one of the few fruit listings with a recorded rise time: the kawaii avocado 2-pack, at 10 seconds.
Scent and size: how little is recorded
Only 6 of the 110 listings mention a scent: two bananas, two pineapples, a lemon set and a strawberry milk bread. The scent does not always match the fruit. The six-piece jumbo lemon set describes “a light cream scent”, not a lemon one. If smell matters to you, read the listing line rather than assuming from the shape.
Sizes are also rare. Fourteen of the 110 give a measurement. They run from a 6 × 5.5 cm fluid-filled watermelon to the 18-inch giant banana squishy. Only three also give a weight: a 70 g color-changing mango, a 100 g fluid-filled watermelon and a 600 g jumbo pineapple. The rest you are buying by photo.

FAQ
What is a banana squishy made of?
Most banana squishy listings in our shop describe slow-rise foam. One, the 7-inch jumbo banana, names PU foam outright. The exception is the crystal fruit banana, a clear-bodied version with fruit slices inside. For the others, the listings do not record a material beyond “foam”.
Are peach squishies slow rising?
All seven of our peach squishy listings describe foam. Six are plain slow-rise foam. The seventh is sold as a stretchy peach: its listing says the foam pulls under your fingers, then slowly fills out again.
Is there a pickle squishy that stretches?
Yes. The moldable pickle squishy listing says you can squish, stretch and mold it before it slowly rises back. The other six pickle squishy listings describe regular slow-rise foam.
Which fruit squishies are jelly or see-through?
Coconut has the most jelly or clear options, six of seven. Apple, lemon, lime and blueberry have two each, and banana, orange, mango, grape and watermelon one each. Not every jelly one is transparent. For a truly see-through body, look at the clear apple, the transparent apple, the crystal banana and the lemon or blueberry ice cube.
Is there a pineapple squishy that isn’t foam?
Among the five pineapple squishy listings we counted, four describe slow-rise foam and one is a stretchy 2-pack with a dough-like fill.
