Easter Squishies: Egg, Chick and Bunny Squishies Sorted by What They Do

A brown speckled egg squishy with a cracked shell and a soft white center on a white background

Easter squishies look the same in a photo; the squeeze is where they differ

Easter squishies come in three shapes that dominate the season: eggs, chicks and bunnies. The shapes repeat, but what happens under your thumb does not. One squishy egg oozes a white center, another spits out a yolk, a third just dents. Chicks differ by surface, from velvet flocking to tacky silicone. Bunnies differ by what is sealed inside. This guide sorts our current listings by that behavior, then works out what small fillers cost per piece.

Everything below comes from our own catalog on September 30, 2026: listing names, descriptions and prices. We have not timed or measured these toys ourselves, and most listings do not record a size, so where a number is missing we say so instead of guessing.

Squishy eggs: one shape, several different tricks

Our Egg Squishy collection groups the egg-shaped pieces, but the collection page shows them side by side as near-identical ovals. Here is what each egg squishy actually does according to its listing.

Egg squishyWhat the squeeze doesPrice
Crack-an-Egg SquishyA soft white center pushes out through a cracked brown shell, then draws back$17.99
Vomiting Egg SquishyPress the belly and a yolk blob comes out of the mouth$17.99
Realistic Yolk Egg, 4 packClear “raw egg” with an orange yolk that drifts as you press$17.99 for four
Cracked Egg, Carton Egg, Marble EggNo trick: a plain dent that fills back in$12 each

The three plain eggs are the quiet choice. The Carton Egg comes in a clear hinged carton, which makes it look like a real egg on a breakfast table, and the Marble Egg is a pink, orange and yellow swirl that ships in a small box with a hang tab. The crack-an-egg and vomiting eggs are both described as TPR, so they are the stretchier ones in the group. If the basket is for someone who likes a gag, those two are the obvious picks; if it is for someone who just wants something soft to hold, a plain egg avoids the surprise.

Squishy chick: the surface tells you how it will feel

Chick squishies are close to identical in outline, a round body and a small beak, so the useful difference is the skin.

  • Flocked, velvet-feel chicks. The Fuzzy Cream Chick, the 2 Pack Chick and the Chick Gift Set (a hen with two chicks) all have a fuzzy coat over a slow-rising fill. The Jumbo Chick is the same idea at a large size, packed with mini chicks inside the set.
  • Smooth TPR. The Chick Squishy Ball is the one chick with a recorded size: 4.5 × 4.5 cm and 150 g, in blue, orange, purple or pink. That weight for that size means a dense, heavy little ball rather than an airy one.
  • Tacky silicone. The Soft Silicone Chick has a slightly sticky shell that flattens and rises slowly.
  • Mochi-style. The Mochi Chick and the Dumpling Chick, with its heart-shaped beak, have the smooth rice-cake skin.
  • Foam. The Fluffy Chick is aerated foam at $12, and the Chubby Chick is a pale-yellow ball chick at the same price.

A flocked chick is the one that picks up lint and grass in an outdoor egg hunt; a smooth TPR or mochi skin wipes off more easily. That is a practical call, not a tested one.

Bunny squishy: read the filling line before the photo

Bunny squishies split by what is inside the shell, and the listings are clear about it.

Filling plastic eggs: what small squishies cost per piece

For egg hunts, the question is usually how many small pieces you need. The mini packs work out like this:

PackPiecesPricePer piece
Slow Rising Egg Bundle80$27.99about $0.35
Animal Egg Mochi Set130$51.99about $0.40
Mini Egg Mochi Animals60$29.99about $0.50
Easter Egg Squishy Fillers24$17.99about $0.75
Mochi Bunny pack24$19.99about $0.83
Soft Bunny pack28$43.99about $1.57

Two things the table cannot tell you. First, none of these mini packs records a measurement, so we cannot promise any of them fits your particular plastic eggs; open one piece and test it in an egg before you fill a dozen. Second, a larger set is not always better value per basket: three children hunting twelve eggs each need 36 pieces, which the 60-piece bag covers with 24 left over, while the 130-piece set would leave most of it in the cupboard until next year.

A simple split that works with these numbers: one mini squishy inside each plastic egg, and one full-size egg, chick or bunny in the basket itself as the main piece.

FAQ

What can I put inside Easter eggs besides candy?

Mini squishies are one option. Our smallest per-piece choices are the 80-piece Slow Rising Egg Bundle at about 35 cents each and the 130-piece Animal Egg Mochi Set at about 40 cents. Test one in your egg first, because the listings give no size.

Which bunny squishy feels different from the rest?

The Foam Bead Bunny 8 pack, because its shells hold loose foam pellets that crackle as you press. The mochi and plain bunnies squish smoothly, and the Pop-Eye Rabbit pushes its eyes out.

Which squishy eggs do something when you squeeze them?

The Crack-an-Egg Squishy pushes out a white center, the Vomiting Egg Squishy spits a yolk blob, and the Realistic Yolk Egg has a yolk that drifts inside a clear shell. The Cracked, Carton and Marble eggs just dent and refill.

Where can I see all the Easter squishies in one place?

The egg ones are together in the Egg Squishy collection. Chick and bunny pieces are spread across the character and pack collections, so this page links each one directly.
