Halloween Squishies for Trick-or-Treat Bags: Cost per Piece, Pack by Pack

A set of twelve small ghost, bat, pumpkin and skull squishies on a white background

Halloween squishies as treats: about $2.50 a piece at the low end

If you want to hand out Halloween squishies at the door instead of candy, the number that decides it is the price of one piece. In our shop that ranges from about $2.50, in a 12-piece ghost set, to $17.99 for a single display piece. Most bags will be filled from the cheaper end. Below is every Halloween pack we sell worked out per piece, what a full bowl costs, and the gaps in the listings you should know about first.

Prices and pack contents are from our catalog on September 30, 2026. The per-piece figures are the listing price divided by the number of pieces the listing says are included, rounded to the cent.

A few notes on reading that table. The eyeball packs are cows, ducks, bunnies and similar animals whose eyes pop out on a squeeze; they sit in our Halloween squishy collection but they are not spooky-looking, so they suit a class party better than a costume crowd. The Fun Box is mostly food shapes, including a butter bar, a cheese cube and a strawberry, with one orange pumpkin. Only the ghost set and the mini ghost pack are Halloween characters all the way through.

What a whole bowl costs

At the cheapest rate, the arithmetic is simple. Three 12 Pack Ghost Squishy Sets give 36 pieces for $89.97. Five sets give 60 pieces for $149.95. If you mix in some eyeball animals, the 16-piece bulk pack adds 16 pieces for $42.99.

You do not have to switch the whole bowl. A smaller second bowl of toys, for kids who cannot or would rather not eat candy, keeps the count (and the bill) down. That is the idea behind the Teal Pumpkin Project run by the food allergy nonprofit FARE, which describes “offering the option of non-food trinkets and toys in a separate bowl” and putting a teal-painted pumpkin outside as the signal (FARE, Teal Pumpkin Project). A squishy is not food, but that is as far as we can go: most of our Halloween listings do not record what the toy is made of, so we cannot tell you whether a particular piece suits a particular child’s allergy.

Ghost squishy, pumpkin or skull: pick by the squeeze

If you are buying a few special pieces rather than a bowl’s worth, the designs behave differently.

  • Something pops out. The Ghost-Pop Pumpkin raises a small white ghost from its top when pinched, and the Pop-Eye Skull pushes a clear bubble of red liquid out of an eye socket. Both are $12.
  • Glitter in gel. Several $12 pumpkins and ghost buns, such as the Glitter Pumpkin and the Ghost Glitter Bao, are translucent gel with glitter that shifts as you press.
  • Beads you can see. The Glitter Ghost Squishy, listed as a bead-filled Halloween stress ball, is a clear ghost with a slow return, 8 × 8 × 4 cm and 120 g, sold as one piece for $17.99.
  • Soft foam. Our $12 Halloween butter bars, such as the Halloween Butter Bar, are rectangular foam sticks in printed sleeves.
  • Glow. The Glow in the Dark Ghost Cube has a small ghost inside a clear cube that glows after a few minutes near a lamp.

What the listings do not tell you

Check these before you commit to a bowl’s worth.

  • Wrapping. Only two listings say their pieces are individually wrapped: the Halloween Butter Squishy single and the butter 12-pack display box. The ghost set, the mini ghost pack and the eyeball packs do not say, so assume the pieces arrive loose and bring your own treat bags.
  • Size. Only three of our Halloween pieces record measurements: the glitter ghost above, the Purple Ghost Squishy at 8.8 × 6.5 × 7 cm, and the Gold Pumpkin Skull at 6 × 6 × 4 cm. The words “mini” and “jumbo” in the pack names are not measurements.
  • Random designs. The single-piece Halloween butter listings send one random design from the pictured set, and you cannot choose which.

If anything arrives damaged, our refund policy explains how to get it sorted; a photo of the problem is the fastest route.

FAQ

Are squishies good non-candy Halloween treats?

They work as a non-food option, especially in a separate bowl for children who avoid candy. At about $2.50 a piece at the cheapest, a small second bowl next to the candy costs far less than replacing it entirely.

What is the cheapest Halloween squishy per piece?

In our shop, the 12 Pack Ghost Squishy Set at $29.99, which is about $2.50 a piece. The 16-piece Bulk Animal Eyeball pack is next at about $2.69.

Are Halloween squishies individually wrapped?

Only the Halloween butter single and the butter 12-pack say so. The other packs do not state it, so plan on bagging them yourself.

Is a ghost squishy different from a pumpkin squishy?

Mostly in look. The feel depends on the build: gel with glitter, bead fill, foam, or a pop-up mechanism. Pick by that rather than by the character.
